NPR’s science correspondent Rob Stein goes to London to talk to scientists at the Imperial College in London about how mosquitoes could be modified to eliminate pathogens such as malaria by quickly spreading genes through a population.  While scientists are excited about the opportunities gene drives provide, others are concerned about releasing modified organisms into the wild.
